Yellow Star-of-Bethlehem in Spring Light, Frankenthal (Alsace)
A refined macro captures three delicate yellow, star-shaped blossoms of the yellow star-of-Bethlehem (Gagea lutea) with their six gleaming tepals and prominent stamens. The linear, arching leaves and deep bokeh suggest a shaded forest floor, with shafts of spring sunlight picking out the petals’ texture.
