Diese Makroaufnahme zeigt eine blühende Gewöhnliche Kuhschelle (Pulsatilla vulgaris) in ihrer ganzen filigranen Schönheit. Die leuchtend lila Blüte ist noch leicht geneigt und, wie der Rest der Pflanze, von einem dichten Pelz aus feinen, silbrigen Haaren überzogen. An diesen Haaren und den Blütenblättern haften unzählige winzige Wassertröpfchen, die wie Kristalle im Licht funkeln und auf einen kühlen Morgen mit Tau oder Raureif hindeuten. Der Hintergrund ist unscharf und zeigt grüne Gräser und erdige Töne, was die Blume prominent hervorhebt. Die Stimmung des Bildes ist ruhig und zeugt vom Erwachen der Natur im Frühling.
